The customer needed reliable, flexible power to support a new manufacturing process area. We tapped into the existing metering gear, reconfigured the metering arrangement to free the required capacity, and ran a 300-foot sub-feeder to the designated production zone. Multiple step-down transformers and new distribution panels were installed so the customer could supply equipment at 277/480 V or 208 V as required. Branch circuits were routed to each machine and work cell, enabling the new line to start production without disruption to the rest of the facility.
To round out the project, we delivered a clear one-page brief that included updated single-line drawings and a simplified feeder routing diagram for the customer’s internal records. We also prepared a sales-ready summary highlighting the added capacity, installation timeline, and new voltage flexibility. For the operations team, we provided a practical handoff package that included a transformer and panel map, a recommended maintenance checklist, and guidance on spare parts to ensure the new infrastructure stays reliable and easy to service as production grows.
