AET was founded by Stacy Sowerby, who was born and raised in Tucson and grew up surrounded by the electrical trade. His father owned an electrical company, and by age twelve Stacy was already wiring homes, operating excavation equipment, and working weekends on residential and commercial sites. By seventeen he was a full-time electrician running crews and safety meetings, and at twenty-three he earned his dual residential and commercial contractor’s license. Over the next three decades he built deep experience across residential production, custom homes, large commercial projects, and high-risk environments including fuel stations and government facilities.

In 2017, Stacy moved to Phoenix and launched Allied Electric Technology with a clear vision to serve commercial clients through honesty, teamwork, and craftsmanship that lasts. Since then, AET has grown into a respected name in Arizona’s commercial electrical space, known for rapid response, dependable work, and a commitment to leaving every project better than we found it. Stacy leads with a simple philosophy: tell the truth, leave things better than you found them, expect everyone to lead and communicate, and take responsibility for every action. These values guide the company’s work and the development of the people who make AET what it is today.
